9:00 – 9:15 a.m. Welcome/ Introduction to the Creative Journal methods by Lucia
Capacchione, Ph.D., A.T.R., R.E.A.T. author of 13 books.
9:15 – 9:45 a.m. Warm-up Exercise “Dancing on Paper”
9:45 -10:00 a.m. Break
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Explanation of the Brain & Dominant and Nondominant Journaling
11:00 – 12:00 p.m. “Reconnecting with My Inner Child” activity (3 CEU)
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Somatic Trauma Release process demonstrated and practiced
2:00 – 2:15 p.m. Break
2:15 – 3:15 p.m. Picture of Health activity & journaling with body parts in pain.
Discuss the effects of stored emotions in the human body.
Your Own Picture of Health (Create the image of how you want
your body to feel: writing positive affirmations.)
3:15 – 4:00 p.m. Creating a Sanctuary using photo collage (3 CEU)

Begin collage of your heart’s desires. Write a focus
phrase and a symbol to represent yourself. Begin searching through
magazines for photos and words which support your focus phrase.
